WSBK celebrates champions, top riders and manufacturers of 2014
The Al Ghassar Ballroom of the St. Regis hotel in Doha welcomed the WSBK stars.
At the impressive Al Ghassar Ballroom of the St. Regis hotel in Doha the eni FIM Superbike World Championship Gala Awards Ceremony took place in front of a vast crowd including many top riders, series sponsors and distinguished guests.
Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta, FIM President Vito Ippolito, QMMF President Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah, Lamberto Dolci, eni Senior Vice President and Giorgio Barbier, Pirelli Racing Director, were all part of the event along with other FIM representatives and each were invited on the stage to present the awards to the riders.
The absolute stars of the gala were this year’s World Superbike and World Supersport champions Sylvain Guintoli and Michael van der Mark, as well as the SBK EVO class winner David Salom. The top 3 riders in each of the two categories also received their well-earned prizes.
